Last night I attended a Liszt en Provence concert at the Château Saint Estève d’Uchaux. The pianist was Agnès Graziano, from Lyon, who is exceptionally talented (a name to look out for in the future). She played a range of pieces by Chopin and Liszt, plus three encores, two of which I did not recognize although the third was Claude Debussy’s well known Clair de Lune. The setting was perfect, with the concert held outside in the open air and the château lit up behind the pianist. Below is one of the pieces from the concert (hence the noticeable background noise – I was quite far away, recording on a digital camera): Agnès Graziano – Liszt’s Rêve d’Amour.
